ABOUT ME
I have always been captivated by the arts. From a young age, I vividly remember watching all sorts of shows and films with my family. As I grew up, I found that having an artistic outlet was the perfect way to express my thoughts, creativity, and imagination. I quickly fell in love with filmmaking and haven't looked back since, committing myself to a career as a professional filmmaker.
THE CREDITS
Artistic Work
FRAMES
Director
This was a passion project and the compilation of many talented peoples work. I was blessed to be able to work with them through pre-production, production, and post-production. The story is one that is very dear to my heart because it is my story, and the world it is set in is very unique.
CALLED AND CHOSEN
Key Grip and 2nd Assistant Camera
The part of the project was shot in outhern California, and working with Holly Wood actor James Huston. I was on the film and lighting team that shot all of the Vietnam war battle scenes and story elements that took place in the jungle. Very proud of some of the lighting, smoke, and overall look of the material our team shot. Check out the video above.
A NIGHTINGALE SANG
Camera Operator/ Assistant Camera
It was such a pleasure to be on this shoot. I traded off and on operating the camera for this incredible memoir piece that was set during World War two and modern times. The movement and beauty of the DP's vision was a joy to shoot.
ARCH
Actor - M1K3
Arch is set in a post-apocalyptic world. A young girl, Lilly, befriends a faceless desert warrior who helps her cross the wasteland to safety. It is an epic short film and amazing was amazing to be a part of.
CLIPS
Assistant Director
Organizing a film shoot is incredibly hard, but this one was exceptionally difficult because we were constantly changing out the 6 different actors for the main character.
BUTTERFLY
Actor - Referee
Fight Choreographer
As a Kickboxing instructor and Fight Choreographer, I was to teach the main characters, with basically no experience, to learn how to fight and look right on film. With a couple of months of work, they went from not knowing the difference from an uppercut and a hook to bobbing an weaving with the best of them.
ABSENCE
Director
This was a one-shot short film about dealing with the loss of a loved one. The challenge of having everything go right in the entire film was daunting and yet so rewarding. This was one of the first project I directed.
